At Noon Online School, we believe that homework plays a vital role in reinforcing
classroom learning and helping students develop good study habits. To ensure
accountability and responsibility, the following policy will be enforced regarding
homework submissions:
1. Homework Submission Status:
– If a student submits their homework on time, they will receive a grade of C (Complete).
– If a student does not submit their homework by the due date, they will receive a grade of M (Missing)
2.Consequences for Missed Homework (M):
* First Occurrence:
– The student receives (M) in his/her homework grades.
– The teacher notifies the student.
– An email will be sent to the parents/guardians by the teacher.
* Second Occurrence:
– The student receives (M) in his/her homework grades.
– The teacher notifies the student.
– An email will be sent to the parents/guardians by the teacher.
* Third Occurrence:
– The student receives (M) in his/her homework grades.
– The teacher notifies the student.
– The teacher will send an additional email to the parents/guardians. – The administration will contact the parents/guardians via phone call to discuss further steps.

– To outline the attendance requirements for virtual school and how
attendance impacts the GPA, with specific scaling for each trimester.
Attendance Requirement:
– Students are required to attend all six live interactive sessions daily. These
sessions are essential for participation and engagement in the virtual learning
environment.
Attendance Weight:
– Attendance will account for 10% of the overall GPA each trimester.
Scaling Attendance Impact Per Subject Per Trimester:
Perfect Attendance:
– 98-100% Attendance: Attending all live interactive sessions for every day of
the trimester or missing 2 sessions will earn the full 10% GPA weight for
attendance.
High Attendance:
– 95-97% Attendance will earn 9% of the GPA weight.
Good Attendance:
– 90-94% Attendance will earn 8% of the GPA weight.
– 85-89% Attendance 7% of the GPA weight.
Noon Online School Self Regulation
Policy:
Minor Offenses:
Meaning These are less severe infractions but can disrupt the
learning environment. Repeated offenses may
escalate to major consequences.
Consequences:
▪ 1st Offense:
Verbal warning and private message from
the teacher.
▪ 2nd Offense:
Written warning and parent notification.
▪ 3rd Offense:
Escalation to major offense status.
Major Offenses:
These are serious breaches of conduct and may
require immediate administrative action.
Consequences:

1. The student will lose 0.5% from
their Self-regulation grade.
2. A notification email will be sent
to the parents.
▪ 2nd Offense:
1. The student will lose 1% from
their Self-regulation grade.
(Total 1.5%)
2. A meeting will be scheduled

school administration.

– To define the expectations and grading criteria for class interaction in our
virtual school. Active participation in daily interactive sessions is
mandatory, and class interaction will account for 5% of the overall GPA
each trimester.
Class Interaction Requirement:
– Students are required to engage actively in all six live interactive sessions each
day. Class interaction includes responding to teachers, participating in
discussions, and contributing to classwork activities.
Class Interaction Weight:
– Class interaction will constitute 5% of the overall GPA each trimester.
Scaling Class Interaction Impact Per Subject Per Trimester:
Perfect Class Interaction:
– 100% Interaction: Active and meaningful participation in all six sessions

High Interaction:
– 98-99% Interaction: Engaging in all sessions with minimal lapses (e.g.,
missing 1 or fewer interactions) will earn 4.75% of the GPA weight.
– 95-97% Interaction: Missing 2 to 4 interactions during the trimester will earn
4.5% of the GPA weight.
Good Interaction:
– 90-94% Attendance: Missing 5 to 7 interactions will earn 4% of the GPA
weight
Moderate Interaction:
– 85-89% Interaction: Missing 9 to 12 interactions will earn 3% of the GPA
weight.
– 80-84% Interaction: Missing 13 to 16 interactions will earn 2.5 % of the
GPA weight.
Low Interaction:
– 75-79% Interaction: Missing 17 to 20 interactions will earn 2 % of the GPA
weight.
– Below 75% Interaction: will earn 0% of the GPA weight.
Excused Missed Interaction:
– Lack of interaction due to valid reasons (e.g., technical issues, personal
emergencies) must be reported by the parents within 48 hours.
– Students are responsible for catching up on missed classwork or activities.
Unexcused Missed Interaction:
– Unexcused lack of interaction will affect the class interaction grade
according to the thresholds provided above.
– Persistent issues with interaction may result in parents` meeting or additional
interventions that affect student`s participation in extracurricular activities
